The first icebrrg stood out for me because of the cool relaxing blues and the above surface light shinning down into the site, EK&Gren’s cool to.

My favourite site above is the ‘fishy’ one … Don’t know why I like this but it stands out and looks ‘street’ style!

A really nice collection of websites, in particular Squared Eye’s site. Blue can appear as a really cold, corporate and sometimes boring colour but these sites are an example of how to use this colour palette well. I will consider using blue more in my websites now and use the effects that I can see above. Great post, thanks!

Great selection of watery websites here, a great source of inspiration. Although many of them use the same ideas (with the header above the surface and main content below) each one manages to hold its own and maintain a unique identity. I particularly like the squared eye site as it has took the theme and really made it there own to create a truly unique design. Also the designdisease design for its great use of light and colour. Great article, interesting to see what can be done with the theme.
